The
FARM
In 2000,
we bought a small hydroponics farm near
Suttons Bay, Michigan.
What started as a retirement venture
for us has turned into a booming — and
blooming —
business. We've turned our passion for
good, healthy eating into a foodie haven
at TLC Tomatoes. The philosophy
behind our farm centers on fresh food
and extends to growing and cooking.
Our farm now has expanded to six greenhouses,
and produces over 35,000 pounds of
hydroponic tomatoes and 50,000 heads
of Bibb lettuce. We
also produce hanging cherry tomato and
petunia baskets, and a variety of fresh
herbs.
We also love to cook,
so it seemed only natural to bring the
fresh produce grown here at the farm
into the kitchen and serve it up to
our customers and visitors. From an
array of tasty sauces to Wednesday night
Dinners at the Farm we invite you to
enjoy our palate pleasing sensations. TLC
produce is also found at quality retail
outlets and restaurants in and around
the Grand Traverse area. We welcome
visitors to the farm during the summer
months, so come on out and see us!
All the best,
