Dinners at the Farm

Every Wednesday at 6 p.m., June 6 - August 29. $30 per person includes 4-course dinner. Appetizer table, hydroponic Bibb lettuce salad, entrée, homemade dessert.

Enjoy a Wednesday night dinner in the heart of Leelanau County. These 4-course meals served in a rustic 1890's barn begin with a social hour from 6-7 p.m with a selection of appetizers that range from wood-fired pizza, freshly made bruschetta, tomato kebabs, herbed goat cheese on French baguette, and non-alcoholic beverages like sun tea, coffee and cherry lemonade.

The dinner bell rings at 7:00 p.m. calling everyone into the barn to enjoy TLC's signature salad featuring a blend of hydroponic lettuces and tomatoes, topped with sweet onions, feta cheese and dried cherries. A choice of Leelanau Country Inn salad dressings are on the table so you can choose your favorite.

As salad plates are cleared away in anticipation of the main entree, the barn is filled with the soft background music of The Windy Ridge Boys who entertain from 6-9 p.m.

With smoke rolling from the custom-made 8' wood-fired grill, the entrees are being plated and carried into the barn for your dining enjoyment. Entrees are often a slow roasted meat that is finished on the grill and served with a starch and vegetable. You'll find a detailed listing of featured entrees for each Wednesday listed below.

Save room for dessert!! We've enlisted the help of close friend Debbie Zinger to make her mouth watering New York style cheesecakes that we top with fresh seasonal fruits from the local farmers.  These desserts are melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

Now it's time to stretch your legs. Enjoy a guided tour of the hydroponic greenhouses or perhaps just stroll around the farm enjoying the numerous perennial beds, gardens and landscaping. For $30.00 per person, it's not just dinner - it's an evening on The Farm,  an awesome sunset and a beautiful drive through Leelanau County. It's an event.

June 6th:
Slow roasted pork loin w/basil pesto and pecans

June 13th:
Butterflied leg of lamb, marinated in roasted garlic, rosemary, thyme, lemon and olive oil

June 20th:
Slow roasted prime rib, finished on the wood grill

June 27th:
Roasted chicken, finished on the wood grill with TLC barbeque sauce

Lasagna made with 3 meats & five cheeses

Baby back ribs, slowly roasted and touched off with TLC barbeque sauce

August 1st:                
Old Settlers Whitefish Boil with Leelanau potatoes, carrots and cabbage, featuring fresh Lake Michigan whitefish

August 8th:               
Slow roasted pork loin finished with TLC barbeque  sauce

August 15th:                
Prime Rib, slow roasted and finished on the wood grill

August 22nd:              
Slow roasted country style ribs with TLC barbeque sauce

Grilled airline chicken breast, slow roasted and finished on the wood grill
